Getting Started in Stay Hard Run
Your first-hour checklist for Heavy games community's Roblox endurance runner.
Welcome to Stay Hard Run, a Roblox endurance runner built by Heavy games community and released on February 6, 2026. You spawn on a track built around a simple promise: stay hard — push through fatigue, clear obstacles, and convert distance into permanent power. The game is live on Roblox with online multiplayer servers, still tagged as early development, so expect UI tweaks and balance passes as the audience grows.
This guide covers your first session: what the currencies do, how training differs from racing, where codes fit in, and what to unlock before you rebirth. Bookmark the Guides Hub for deeper topics once the basics click.
Install and join
Launch the experience from the official Roblox page. No Steam or external launcher exists — Roblox only. Pick a public server or play solo; other runners share the world but do not block your progression.
Supported platforms:
- PC — keyboard and mouse, most precise for obstacle timing
- Mobile — touch controls, good for casual sessions
- Controller — supported; see Controls for menu versus movement notes
After load, orient yourself: track ahead, UI on the edges, Codes button on the right side of the screen.
Claim free codes immediately
Before grinding, redeem official promos from the Codes Hub:
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
UPDATE2 | 4,500 points |
LIVERKING | 4 rebirths |
300MILES | 300 miles |
Open Codes, paste exactly, press Redeem. Step-by-step help: How to Redeem Codes. Save rebirth codes until you read How to Rebirth — five free rebirths is huge if spent at the wrong time.
Community codes (RELEASE, FREEREBIRTH) may work but need in-game verification. Troubleshoot failures on Code Troubleshooting.
Understand the core loop
Stay Hard Run revolves around four repeating steps:
- Train endurance — static or low-speed drills that raise stamina caps
- Run obstacles — active sections where mistakes cost time and miles
- Earn points and miles — points buy upgrades and characters; miles track distance prestige
- Rebirth — reset part of your run for multipliers that stick forever
Later loops add stronger characters (Unlock Characters), heavier weights (Carry Weights), and leaderboard pushes (Leaderboard Tips).
First-hour checklist
Work through this list in order during session one:
- Redeem
UPDATE2and300MILES(hold rebirth codes briefly) - Complete any tutorial prompts — they gate UI elements
- Run three full laps focusing on not falling rather than max speed
- Spend points on endurance before cosmetic flair
- Open the character menu and note unlock costs for your next target
- Practice one obstacle section until you clear it twice in a row
- Check miles gained versus the Earn Miles Fast baseline
Stopping early to read is fine — progression is marathon, not sprint.
Points: what to buy first
Points fund training tiers and character unlocks. Early spending mistakes trap players in slow runs:
- Priority: endurance training, basic speed where it does not hurt stamina
- Secondary: first character upgrade with clear stat bump — see Unlock Characters
- Low priority: flashy boosts you cannot sustain across a full lap
UPDATE2 grants 4,500 points — enough to skip the slowest early grind if you spend on stats, not shortcuts.
Miles: why distance matters
Miles measure how far you travel across sessions. They gate some unlocks and feed leaderboard comparisons. 300MILES gives 100 free — treat it as a head start, not a finish line. Learn efficient routing in Earn Miles Fast once you can finish laps without wiping on the same obstacle repeatedly.
When to rebirth (not yet)
Rebirth is the strongest permanent system. It trades short-term stats for long-term multipliers. New players should not rebirth in the first twenty minutes unless a guide tells them to — you need baseline characters and training levels first.
Read How to Rebirth before using LIVERKING. Premature rebirths feel powerful for five minutes, then underperform accounts that waited one more upgrade cycle.
Multiplayer and social notes
Servers are online co-op environments — you see other players, but progression is individual. There is no confirmed official Discord or Trello at launch; avoid random invite links promising leaks. Use Players Hub for population context and Wiki Overview for site-wide navigation.
What this guide does not cover
- Scripts: Scripts Hub documents an honest empty search — no verified ScriptBlox entries yet
- Tier rankings: Tier List fills in as the meta matures
- Patch notes: Updates Hub tracks developer changes
- Tools: Tools Hub for calculators when available
Your next three pages
After one solid session, read these in order:
- Controls — tighten input consistency
- How to Rebirth — plan your first reset
- Earn Miles Fast — scale distance income
Stay Hard Run rewards patience. Train until obstacles feel boring, then push speed. The “stay hard” mantra is literal — quit on fatigue, not on the first wipe.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Stay Hard Run players.
Is Stay Hard Run free on Roblox?
Yes. It runs inside Roblox on PC, mobile, and controller. Optional Robux purchases may exist, but the core loop is playable without them.
What should I spend my first points on?
Endurance training and your first meaningful character upgrade. Avoid cosmetics until laps feel stable.
Should I use LIVERKING or DAVID on day one?
Not blindly. Redeem both from the Codes Hub, then schedule rebirths with How to Rebirth and the Progression Planner so the eight free rebirths compound instead of stalling you.
Can I play with friends?
Yes — join the same Roblox server. Progression is per account, but you can race alongside friends.
Where do I redeem UPDATE2?
In-game Codes button on the right side of the screen. See How to Redeem Codes for full steps.
